Oil Heater Thermostat Settings and Information
An oil heater is a heating device that is filled with oil. Radiant heating systems, radiators and space heaters often utilize oil burning technology. The average oil burning heater is a space heater that is used to heat a room or even a larger area. These heaters come in different sizes and capacities but most all have oil heater thermostat settings. A thermostat allows you to set the heater to the temperature you want so that it will provide heat at a consistent temperature.
One example of an affordable space heater is the Honeywell HZ708 Electronic Oil Filled Radiator Portable Space Heater. This particular heater will warm up to 300 square feet of space and features a 3-prong plug with heavy duty cord. When you're not using the heater, such as in the summer months you can utilize the front cord wrap for easy storage. Crafted from solid steel, this oil heater has a thermostat that can be programmed to keep the temperature in the room where you want it. The heater also comes with three different heat settings for greater energy efficiency.
Another thermostat controlled space heater from a name you may recognize is the Delonghi Advanced Oil-Filled Radiator Heater. This heater has a thermostat that actually monitors the temperature in the room and adjusts to the desired level of warmth. This model has automatic shut off in the event of overheating and is safe to touch due to the low temperature on the metal surface, unlike other oil filled heaters which may cause severe burns if touched. The metal is double insulated and the horizontal slots allow faster output and circulation of warmed air.
Most every oil heater thermostat has multiple settings so you can adjust your heater to the ideal temperature. Oil heaters are very efficient and economical because unlike other types of space heaters the oil inside does not need to be replaced. Not only does this save our valuable resources it saves you money. You'll find heaters with thermostats in all major home improvement stores and discount department stores with home appliance departments. They start at about $35 and go up in price from there depending on size, features and manufacturer.
